My experience and interests in tutoring: Education and Work Experiences (Past)
- I graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) with a major in mathematics and a minor in computer science. During my time at MSU, I served as a tutor in the Mathematics Learning Center, where I provided one-on-one support to students across a variety of mathematics courses, and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, teaching in classrooms of 30-35 students.
- After graduation, I entered the management consulting field, focusing on data management, migration, integration, analytics, and reporting. Mentoring junior team members has been a key aspect of my role. While working full-time, I also earned an MBA and a master's in finance from Walsh College in Troy, MI.
Education and Work Experiences (Current and Future Aspirations)
- I am currently pursuing a master’s in mathematics at Wayne State University and plan to transition to the PhD program by fall 2025. Additionally, I tutor at the Mathematics Resource Center, a service offered by the Department of Mathematics at Wayne State University, where I assist students with a variety of first- and second-year math and statistics courses.
- In August 2024, I passed the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) – 022 – Mathematics (Secondary) exam and I am currently working with Michigan Techers of Tomorrow to secure an Interim Teaching Certificate, which will enable me to teach mathematics in high schools across Michigan.Other Subjects I like to Tutor: Bengali
